Danny Willett: Somes Fans Showed My Brother Was Correct
/Following his brother's attempt at satire, Danny Willett earned some newfound respect for his apology.
Sunday following Europe's massive 17-11 Ryder Cup loss, Willett got a few laughs for summing up his week with a good laugh line.
And sometime Sunday night/Monday morning, perhaps after one-too-many mineral waters at the Sheraton Bloomington, Willett took to Twitter to ensure that he will zoom to the top of most Americans' list of most regrettable Masters winners.
Apparently his brother's dreaded column was not satire after all...
Very strange week here at the Ryder cup.. Tried my best but played poorly.. Unfortunately some american fans showed that @P_J_Willett was..

.. In fact correct.. Nothing to blame my bad play on.. But still shows that sometimes fans don't know when to call it a day.. Shame really!!
