Video: Chambers Bay Eighth, Ninth, Tenth
/Playing catchup on the Chambers Bay flyovers with the holes around the turn, starting with what figures to be one of the more intriguing viewing holes, the par-5 8th. I'm not seeing the Royal Dornoch in this one as suggested by Robert Trent Jones Jr., but I am seeing a ledge falling off to more golf course that could create some traffic tie-ups on a windy day.

The highly flexible 9th looks like the most fascinating hole at Chambers Bay so far, especially when played from a lower tee. I'm struck by the steepness of the left-hand slope here and whether it will push balls to the green or have more of a ricochet effect.
