Hmmm: Shark Offers Stricker Unsolicited Physician Recommendation

Gary D'Amato talks to Steve Stricker about his health issues and while there hasn't been great progress as the Presidents Cup approaches, there was this bizarro bit involving the opposing team's captain:

Stricker said the symptoms have subsided some with rest, traction and strengthening exercises. But he still has weakness in his left hand and the tips of his index and middle finger are numb.

"I can tell I don't have the strength in there even now," he said. "My left arm feels a little bit different than my right. Opening a jar at home or whatever, I don't feel like I have the finger strength."

Greg Norman called "out of the blue" to put Stricker in touch with his doctor. U.S. Presidents Cup captain Fred Couples, who has dealt with chronic back pain for years, also called and offered advice.

Warms the heart to see the opposing captain so concerned for the Yanks!
