R.I.P. Ken Bowden
/Ken Bowden, former Golf Digest editor and longtime golf writer best known as the man who organized most of Jack Nicklaus' thoughts into the written word, has died.
Jaime Diaz remembers Bowden as "one of the most important golf writers the game has ever known."
Said Nicklaus upon learning of Bowden’s passing, “Beyond writing all my instruction books, he was a terrific guy. Ken was a very good friend, a very good player, a very good writer, and a confidante.”
Here is an excerpt from a book of stories Bowden produced in 2008.
His memoir is available on Amazon in limited quantities but can be purchased electronically.
