Tiger: Updating The Architecture Site Scouting Look

Mike Organ of The Tennessean reports on Tiger's "interest" in a Tennessee site at Thompson's Station that will be developed by his partners from Houston's Bluejack National project.

More fun is the attire choice for the traditional pointing-into-oblivion photo: gone are the dad jeans (at least as far as we can tell), in is the Nike fresh-off-the-slopes look (minus the skull mask).

“I think it’s very cool to have Beacon and Tiger interested in this part of Tennessee and in particular Thompson's Station,” Napier said. “I spent a little bit of time with Tiger while he looked at the land, and I think that being a guy from California and living in Florida, he has a new appreciation for Middle Tennessee topography since he saw it in 3-D, if you will. My takeaway was that he really loved the canvas on which he could work, and I was thrilled to see him be excited about this opportunity."

Woods already designed an 18-hole course at Bluejack National, a private club in a community Beacon Land is developing outside Houston, Texas.
