Salem CC Gets 2017 U.S. Senior Open

Jimmy Golen reports on the return to a lovely old track in a great golf neighborhood, Salem CC in Peabody.  Bruce Fleischer won the 2001 Senior Open there.

I haven't been there in over a decade, but it was the least lively architecturally of the trio outside of Boston that includes Myopia Hunt Club and one of my all time favorites, Essex County Club. Has any more restoration work taken place at Salem?
