Masters Note: Bubba And DJ's 3-Putt Streaks

One of the annual Masters stats worth noting: 3 putts by the winner. Rarely does a Masters champion three-putt more than once during the week in spite of imminently three-puttable greens.

We already knew going into this year that Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson are playing consistently well. Both can use distance to overwhelm Augusta National's par-5s and long par-4s, but as Alex Myers points out, they've also got incredible putting streaks going.

We were surprised to discover these two bombers off the tee currently have the two longest streaks of avoiding a three-putt on the PGA Tour (through the WGC-Cadillac Championship). Bubba's streak has lasted 237 holes over seven tournaments, while Johnson's has spanned 217 holes over six events. Ben Martin is No. 3 and well back at 129.

Just a little something to remember and to remind us that the Masters is only three weeks away.
