In particular, the wild and weird “imitation sand dunes” created by Chandler Egan in his 1928 overhaul of the course that took the rudimentary design of Neville and Grant, and made Pebble Beach what it is today.

Yes, all still will sing the praises of the original designers, but it was Egan who elevated the design. And still doesn’t get credit.
