Keiser: "It is a thrilling dunescape – a cross between Pine Valley and Sand Hills."

Developer-extraordinaire Mike Keiser made the rare move to announce his next project, a Coore-Crenshaw course in Wisconsin that, based on his track record, will be another great place for serious golfers.

As I note in this GolfDigest.com item, it's Gary D'Amato with some great details on the project and a slightly different funding structure for Keiser. Left unsaid though is what happened with architect Tom Doak, who was posting on Golf Club Atlas and in his Christmas newsletter in ways that suggested he felt it was his job to lose. I link to some of Doak's comments and a super gallery of site images by a GCA contributor.

In other Keiser news, his Bandon municipal course moved one step closer to reality as a complicated land swap is moving forward. John Gunther reports.
