Inbee On The Verge Of Third Major Of 2013

Inbee Park's stunning domination of women's golf is about to start turning into Grand Slam mania is she holds her four stroke lead heading into Sunday's U.S. Women's Open finale at Sebonack

AP's Rachel Cohen reports.

No one has ever won the first three majors in a year when there were at least four.

"I'm just going to try to do the same thing that I did for the last three days," Park said. "Yeah, it will be a big day. But it's just a round of golf, and I just try not to think about it so much."

Stuart Hall points out the many accomplishments that come with a win Sunday and that if she wins her fourth major, Park moves into select company.

Four major championships, when you add her 2008 U.S. Women's Open victory to the three she will have won this year. With four majors, Park would join a sorority that includes Americans Susie Maxwell Berning, Donna Caponi, Sandra Haynie, Meg Mallon and Hollis Stacy, and Laura Davies of England. Only 15 players in history have won more than four.
