Tiger vs. Golf Channel Verdict Due Thursday!

We'll find out just how much (if any) Golf Channel-resentment Tiger Woods holds this Thursday when he walks off the 18th green at Sherwood Country Club and is asked to share his first round thoughts to his World Challenge television partner.

As I note in Golf World Monday, Tiger's thought to not be very happy that Brandel Chamblee is still employed at Golf Channel after the analyst suggested Woods was cavalier with the rules in 2013. Will his anger spill over to this week, where the Tiger Woods Foundation benefits from the event and, as I note in GWM, Golf Channel/NBC are signed on for the event's move to Florida in 2014?

Before then, Woods stops in the media center for an unusual Wednesday press conference slated for 2 p.m. PT. In the past, Woods has traditionally held his annual State Of Tiger gathering on Tuesday and in recent years, the presser has been carried on Golf Channel.
