Tiger's Beloved "Feels" Is A 2013 Word Of The Year

In a Sunday NY Times Review piece, Grant Barrett summarizes the new words selected as words of 2013 by the four major dictionary publishers.

While not exactly the definition that Tiger Woods ascribes to one of his stock words or phrases, "feels" is a favorite and now is part of some dictionaries.

The definition according to Barrett:

FEELS n. pl. Feelings. Originated online, thrived as a meme in 2012, and now in 2013 shows signs of moving into more widespread English slang. It’s typically used in response to a moving story: “That got me right in the feels, bro.”
