Kraig Kann Leaving Golf Channel For LPGA Gig

Kraig Kann, who had to act excited about more episodes of The Big Break than any other other original Golf Channel anchor, is leaving the network after nearly sixteen years to take the job as LPGA Tour Communications Director. He leaves behind Kelly Tilghman, Rich Lerner, Brian Hammond Hammons and other longtime stalwarts of the channel.

Jay Coffin reports.

Reporting directly to commissioner Mike Whan as part of the organization’s executive leadership team, Kann is tasked with leading the LPGA’s public relations and communications efforts, including tournament support, media interaction and fan awareness.
