Watch Kevin Na Play Really, Really Fast

For all of my complaints about Kevin Na's pace of play and the PGA Tour's total fear of anything remotely controversial, Thursday at the Valero Open proved to be a breakthrough day.

As you'll see in the video posted by, yes, PGATour.com, you can watch Na take very little time racking up what was thought to be a 15. Until a necessary post-round look at the tape, reports Jim Moriarty of Na's 47-33 round.

When the round was over Na adjourned to review the videotape. "I got done with the hole and I said, 'Ryuji (Imada), I think I made somewhere between a 10 and a 15 but I think it's close to a 15.' They gave me 14 in the beginning and that sounded about right. Then, after the round, they said 15. We went and checked the camera and I counted it myself and it was 16. I just wanted to know exactly what I made. I'm the only one that's going to be able to know."

Give Na credit for (A) wearing a mic on the course (B) not swearing during the fiasco (well, as far as I can tell) (C) coming into the press center after to talk about the embarrassing situation, (D) shooting 33 on the back, and (E) playing so quickly that he couldn't keep track of his score.

PS - how about that green and hole location?
