CBS SPORTS’ 2011 MASTERS THIRD-ROUND COVERAGE EARNS SECOND HIGHEST RATING IN NINE YEARS
CBS Sports’ coverage of the 2011 Masters on Saturday, April 9 scored an average overnight household rating/share of 6.8/16. This is the second-highest rating in nine years for Saturday’s coverage, second only to last year’s 7.6/18 which was up 33% from 2009. Last year’s Masters was highlighted by Tiger Wood’s return to competitive golf.
This year’s third-round coverage was up 19% from 2009 and up 11% from 2008.
