Golf Channel Powering NBC's Early Coverage

John Strege says Golf Channel's early coverage stayed on the air last weekend while NBC's hockey game ran long.

The union of NBC and the Golf Channel proved advantageous in at least one regard. When the Chicago-Washington hockey game ran overtime and into NBC's scheduled start of the WGC-Cadillac Championship, we still had Doral coverage on the Golf Channel.

Meanwhile, a few of you have asked why no press releases the last two weeks pronouncing the benefits of synergy via massive Nielsen shares. There's still time this week to curb ED drug usage this week in parts of Orlando and New York city with a press release showing the continued benefits of synergy cross-channel prioritization, but with each day I grow more curious wondering if the match play drew big numbers because of the format.
