Fax On Champions Tour: "This is like getting the '80s on XM Radio."
/Steve Campbell, quoting Insperity Championship leader Brad Faxon after a Saturday 65 put the Champions Tour rookie in the lead.
Brad Faxon has yet to experience the sort of success he might have hoped on the Champions Tour, with no finish higher than 16th in his first five starts. Still, Faxon has no complaints about the latest stage of his golfing life.
"This is like getting the '80s on XM Radio. You hit the button and here comes Pat Benatar and Styx and Kansas and you're like, `Oh, yeah, I used to play with them,'" Faxon said. "I've loved it. People ask me all the time, what would you do if you didn't play golf? I'm a golfer. I love to play. When I go home and I'm on vacation, I still play golf because I like to play.
"And seeing these guys and hearing stories, I could listen to it all day. I'm loving it. I don't think I've wiped the smile off my face."
