Thanks for Steven T for the heads up on this Joe Logan story about Philmont's design pedigree. It seems William Flynn biographers Morrison and Paul have broken the bad news that Philmont isn't anywhere on record as being designed by the mastermind of places like Shinnecock Hills and Merion (with Hugh Wilson).
